Tynemouth Beach Volleyball Tournament 2018
7/8th July 2018
Tynemouth Beach Volleyball Tournament is back for it's 26th year! This year it'll be taking place over the weekend of the 7 and 8th July, with the 2-a-side on the Saturday and the 4-a-side taking place on the Sunday.
The last 25 years of Tynemouth BVT have been fantastic and the tournament has gone from strength to strength and this has been down to the commitment of Sue Sowden and Eileen Anderson. Sue has decided that after organising such a great weekend for the past 25 years that she would hand over all organisation to us, Marden Volleyball Club. We are extremely grateful for all of Sue and Eileen's efforts and for being given this opportunity.
Marden Volleyball Club is based in Whitley Bay and in the summer season you will find us on the beach every Thursday, with 2 qualified beach coaches we pride ourselves in our delivery of beach volleyball training. We are also associated with the recently setup Longsands Beach Volleyball League, that takes place every Tuesday in the summer months providing regular competitive beach volleyball in the Tyne & Wear region. We're passionate not just about volleyball, but beach volleyball too and we hope that we can continue to provide a great weekend for all alongside helping to progress beach volleyball in the North East of England.

This year we'll be having a social on the Saturday evening, it's going to be a blast! Just a short walk up from the beach we've booked out the Surf Cafe, get your tickets as soon as possible as they're limited! Along with your ticket you'll get free food!
